BUS AND TRUCK TEST TRACK

The test track is located 3 km west of Ankara Airport.

It is a special facility defined for vehicle tests which contains many different trial modules to meet the extreme road conditions.The total length of the runway is approximately 1.4 km (1400m) and totally 50.000 m² zones paved with different covers as asphalt, concrete, natural stone and steel plates. All conditions that vehicles may encounter are simulated with using different ground materials.

Different type soil improvement methods as "Rammed Agregate Piers, Selected compacted backfills" have been used to make the soil able to load upper-structure loads.

The track has 4%, 12% and 25% horizontal slopes and 6%, 12% and 18% longitudinal sloping climbing areas.

Irrigated sections for the  most unsuitable driving routes.

The facility has all geometric and extreme conditions for using during the R&D stage of the vehicles.
